Nerve conduction consists in assessing the health of nerves by calculating its conduction velocity and amplitudes of the responses. We do this for both motor and sensory nerves in all limbs and cranial nerves.

We also provide repetitive nerve studies to assess the health of the neuromuscular junction

Needle electromyography is the complement of Nerve Conduction. It is performed by inserting a very small needle in muscles and assess abnormal potentials which may be the result of a nerve fiber injury (neuropathy) or condition of the muscle itself (myopathy).

In some cases, it may provide valuable information to image the nerve using ultrasound. This is not invasive and there are virtually no contraindications for it. It costs also a fraction of the cost of an MRI.
